Hello underwater fun lovers! the beginning of the clip has a normal smooth flow. i'm holding my breath and peter is handcuffing me. the next few minutes seem to be uneventful. but my intuition is giving me warning signs. 6:40 peter is about to cuff my free hand. i realize that this is my last chance to ask him. 6:50 i signal the need to communicate over the water. Hello underwater fun lovers! i wanted to complicate my breathing, so i took my russian gp-5 gas mask underwater. i think it was complication enough. i sucked water into the mask very easily. not once was it on purpose and yet it happened every now and then. it was quite disturbing to my concentration. i kept thinking about it. i couldn't relax enough. it took about 15 seconds for the water to come out of the mask. i was afloat and yet i had to wait. it was endlessly long and stressful. i was also bothered by peter's icy help to keep me afloat (i can't take a good breath when i have to balance to keep from falling into the water). i only managed a quality breath when i asked for a stronger hug. it was only at this point that i was able to release the tightened muscles that were preventing me from taking a big full lung breath. anyway, this kind of fun has a lot of potential. i like that it has 2 levels of waiting to inhale. first, i wait underwater. then i wait above the water.
