My students feel the need to unburden themselves from time to time, often confessing thier misdeeds *long* after the fact. Even though they know secrecy only doubles the punishment, fear and immaturity often guide them into making bad situations even worse. Today, four of my students are queued outside my office door, each sharing a date to meet her fate.

In walks Lily, with her lowly confession of cheating in class. Having her classmates do her homework for a whole year is going to cost her dearly, and Lily cries in terror as my prison cane slices the air. Her voice growing in agony as she calls out the count, poor Lily shakes in pain until her legs start to buckle, whilst twenty-four hard cane strokes leave furious red stripes on her naughty young bottom.
